This distinguished Bronx residence, once the home of Mayor LaGuardia, had retained its curb appeal but was due for a transformation that honored its heritage. With much of the original Tudor detailing stripped away, the interior felt disconnected from its historic roots. The renovation aimed to revive the essence of the home’s past while adapting it for contemporary living, seamlessly blending tradition with a fresh, refined aesthetic.

Highlights of the redesign include graceful arched doorways, rich hardwood flooring, and a chef’s kitchen that flows into a double-height living area. The new primary suite, painted in a serene green, features elegant paneling and a steam sauna framed in steel, offering a luxurious nod to classic design. Carefully crafted connections throughout the house bring cohesion to previously isolated spaces, creating a layout that feels both timeless and effortlessly modern.

This Bronx residence elegantly blends historic Tudor influences with modern design, creating a timeless, serene, and luxurious ambiance.
