Originally built in the 1960s by the owner’s father, this post-and-beam home in Warwick, New York, has been thoughtfully reimagined as a modern family retreat. A new gable roof enhances its architectural presence, blending the home seamlessly with the surrounding nature preserve while allowing for efficient ductwork that services the interior spaces.

The renovation brings the outdoors in with expansive new windows that frame meadow views, while contrasting siding adds depth to the exterior. Inside, white oak beams elevate the ceiling, creating an airy feel. The custom kitchen, featuring an arched hood and Moroccan tiles, reflects the owner’s passion for cooking with ample counter space and smart storage for a refined yet functional design.

This 1960s-inspired post-and-beam home in Warwick, NY, blends nature, modern elegance, and functional design, evoking warmth and harmony.
