Nestled along the riverbank, this thoughtfully renovated farmhouse captures the timeless charm of Hudson Valley vernacular architecture. The design pays homage to its rural surroundings, with a rustic material palette that seamlessly bridges the region’s historical character and contemporary comforts. Every detail, from the rejuvenated kitchen and mudroom to the reimagined bedrooms and bathrooms, is curated to evoke a sense of place and harmony with the landscape.

Approaching the home, red barn doors frame a gabled colonnade, guiding guests from the gravel motor court toward the newly refreshed facade. Inside, vibrant millwork in the kitchen, butler’s pantry, and mudroom brings warmth and contrast to the textured, rough-sawn wood surfaces. In the dining area, newly installed exterior doors open to reveal stunning views of the Hudson River, merging indoor and outdoor beauty in perfect balance.

Throughout the home, traditionally rustic elements such as rough sawn wood is highlighted against refined and colorful textures, breathing life into this Hudson Valley farmhouse.
